CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR AN ACADEMIC JOINT POSITION FOR: ASSISTANT OR ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR IN CLINICAL RESEARCH AND/OR EPIDEMIOLOGY IN INFECTIOUS DISEASES

The Faculty of Medicine (FMED) and Faculty of Biological Sciences (FBS) at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile invite interested candidates to apply for a tenure-track position and joint appointment at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor. The position will have a joint affiliation with FMED (1st affiliation) and FBS. The objective of this call is to enhance area of clinical and epidemiological research in the field of infectious disease in both units and the university.

The applicants must demonstrate successful, independent, and interdisciplinary research. In addition, they will be expected to demonstrate their ability to teach undergraduate and graduate students in these areas, including the training of new scientists.
